A Foundation of Support

With fiscal year 2016 behind us, UCLA has much to celebrate, including having raised more than $2.7 billion toward The Centennial Campaign for UCLA $4.2 billion goal. With three years of the campaign ahead of us, momentum is on our side.

In addition to campaign progress, we have these numbers to be proud of: UCLA continues to rank among the very best colleges and universities — now number two among the nation's public universities and number 23 in the U.S. overall, according to U.S. News and World Report's “Best College Rankings.”

Collaboration and education are two of the most important paths to progress. When we commit to work together, we create opportunities to set ourselves apart. And when we increase our knowledge and understanding, we find new solutions and new ways forward. The UCLA Foundation and the UCLA Investment Company operate in concert according to these values and the principle of prudence, always preparing for the future.

UCLA Chancellor Gene Block is dedicating resources to inspire others to give by launching the UCLA Chancellor's Centennial Scholars Match, aimed at adding $150 million to endowed undergraduate scholarship support during the Centennial Campaign.

Global outreach is also imperative for UCLA, and Chancellor Block recently led a delegation to Asia as part of UCLA's global engagement efforts. The trip included meetings with UCLA alumni in Asia and high-level local government, education, and business leaders.

Diligence, support for students, and bridge building: Through these — and your generous support — UCLA prepares for a future marked by continued excellence and influence.
